Cucina retains contracts at The Harefield Academy and Edgebarrow School

Cucina Restaurants has retained contracts at The Harefield Academy in Middlesex and Edgebarrow School in Crowthorne Berkshire, keeping its 100% intact.

Cucina has achieved outstanding results in both schools, with significant turnaround in numbers of students eating in the restaurants.

Commenting soon after Cucina’s initial appointment, Jane Carpenter, Business and Enterprise Manager at Edgebarrow School said:

“Take-up of school lunches has soared. Cucina has a desire to be part of the school rather than just being our caterers.”

Within a year of Cucina’s appointment at The Harefield Academy, Director of Resources and Business Development Dr Phil Bassill commented:

“The majority of our students now eat school dinners, and benefit from healthy, well-prepared, exciting food. We have seen Cucina’s positive influence on the students’ energy, behaviour and attention spans.”

Commenting on his company’s 100 contract retention rate, Cucina Managing Director Steve Quinn said:

“We’re obviously delighted to retain both of these contracts. We’re always looking to develop new, exciting approaches to the way we offer delicious, nutritious food to our young customers.”
