Quality ingredients around us

Less-travelled ingredients often means fresher, better tasting food. We travel the UK carefully selecting fresh ingredients from growers and producers to ensure that we only offer our chefs the quality, consistency and terms that they demand.

  • All eggs and egg-based products in Cucina’s restaurants are free-range
  • All fish used is MSC-certified from sustainable stocks
  • Around 90 per cent of our fruit and vegetables are grown in the UK
  • The majority of our meat is Red Tractor accredited
  • All coffee and chocolate we use is Fairtrade

  • Creating pleasant, attractive dining environments
  • Developing food education programmes in conjunction with partner schools and colleges
  • All food in school kitchens cooked from ‘scratch’ every day

Respecting and protecting what’s around us

  • Converting the Cucina vehicle fleet to bio-diesel
  • Composting our kitchen waste for use by local gardening clubs

Supporting the people around us

  • Becoming involved in the communities in which we work
